A new parenting-themed Instagram account captures everyday life for moms and dads in the throes of raising young kids.

Titled Average Parent Problems, the Instagram features photos that sum up the daily grind of parenting — from laundry disasters to lego-related injuries.

Mommy Shorts creator Ilana Wiles launched Average Parent Problems less than a month ago, but it already has over 11,000 followers.

“Instagram is full of picture perfect moms dressing their kids in adorable clothes in their flawlessly decorated houses eating healthy homemade snacks,” Wiles told The Huffington Post. “Average Parent Problems is an Instagram account for the rest of us. The parents who can’t find the matching hair barrettes, make frozen waffles for breakfast every morning and don’t have time to clean the playroom.”

Wiles invites other parents to submit their own photos on Instagram with the hashtag #averageparentproblems or post them to the Mommy Shorts Facebook page.

“I hope other parents will relate to the photos, feel like they are in good company and see the amusement in our daily struggles,” she said. “I am always aiming to make the struggles of raising children entertaining. Parents need it!”
