15 years ago, Grammy-Award winning singer and actress Jill Scott released her debut album, “Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1.”  Now, she’s returning with fifth studio album, “Woman,” due out before the end of August. In a new interview with our friends over at The Steve Harvey Morning Show, Jill and Steve reminisce over the importance of her double-platinum debut album, “Who is Jill Scott: The Words and Sounds Vol. 1.”  The 2015 ESSENCE FEST speaker actually fought to play “Long Walk” against the wishes of his program directors at his 2000 radio gig in LA.
